When the LTTE struck, they struck indiscriminately. When they bombed public transport, they killed Sri Lankans. There were Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims, Burgers, and Malays who suffered as a result of their attacks.

The Api Wenuwen Api Fund is a collaboration between the The Ministry of Defence and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka to build 50,000 houses for the serving Tri-Service personnel. This service would be available at a fee of Thirty rupees per month and proceeds from this service also contribute to the ‘Api Wenuwen Api’ fund.

The music video of ‘Sebalaneni’ would be available in DVD format at all Mobitel outlets in the near future and all proceeds from the sale of each DVD is to be contributed to the ‘Api Wenuwen Api’ fund.

Mobitel customers would also be able to further contribute to the ‘Api Wenuwen Api’ fund by downloading ‘Sebalaneni’ Ring – tones from wap.mobitel.lk and also by downloading ‘Sebalaneni’ Wallpapers from wap.mobitel.lk in the near future.

tempered with this, there are some occasions where i cant help but to laugh. today was one of those occasions. as worried as i was, i literally burst out laughing when i read the following news story on Reuters. Tamil Tiger planes bomb power station and army camp.

so what was so funny about the article that caused this outburst? here you go.

Shortly after the lights went out, the sound of anti-aircraft guns thundered from Colombo’s shoreline, and people stood in the streets to watch.

i mean, the whole point of a blackout is for people to head indoors, and wait it out in darkness until it is safe to come out again. NOT to go and stand in the road where you can get hurt by stray artillery fire.

i guess somethings will never change. we sri lankans are a very curious bunch, but sometimes its better to be cautious and safe than curious and sorry don’t you think?

Many don’t know this but it was the LTTE that really mastered the art of suicide body suites that many other terrorist organizations use so effectively all over the world.

It looks like they have sunken to an even lower low by this attack.

Hillary is the other idiot. Apparently she has stated that the LTTE is not a terrorist organization but freedom fighters??? I mean what sort of crack was she smoking when she made that statement? Maybe this spills some light on rumors that the LTTE have made huge campaign donations to her.

Is that legal? I mean can candidates accept donations from known and banned terrorist groups???
