Are we going to really get out TV back? I don’t know when, but the end of horrible reruns definitely seems to be in sight. The Hollywood writers who went on strike a few months ago protesting unfair royalty payments from the sales of internet based media votes Tuesday to go back to work.

I guess it’s time for actors to get back to work; after all while the writers were on strike, there were no scripts and therefore no work for the actors. Quite a nice long vacation I must say.

So how long will it take for us to see new episodes hit the networks? Say a week or so for the writers to write a new script, then the whole process of getting the script approved, the actors learning the script, recording the episode etc.. so maybe a total of about 3-4 weeks? Or is that being way too optimistic. I have absolutely no idea what kind of time lines these things follow, anyone know?

'…Curiosity killed the cat…' It’s a good thing I’m not a cat. If I were to akin myself to a representative of the animal kingdom a monkey would be more my type :-)
